See the sky over Berlin with different eyes and experience the fascination of astronomy with a visit to the Archenhold-Sternwarte in the middle of Treptower Park. You’ll be excited to see what the night sky over Berlin has to offer when you look deep into the cosmos with the »Cassegrain reflecting telescope«. Take a look at planets and the moon in fascinating detail, as well as »deep sky objects« such as stars, nebulae and galaxies. Our experts will answer your questions during the observation and share exciting information about the celestial bodies, as well as the technology and history of the instruments.
Discover the beauty of the sky over Berlin in the largest and oldest public observatory in Germany. If the weather is unfavourable, you can enjoy the artificial starry sky in the Kleinplanetarium.
Please note that the event will partly take place in unheated rooms or in the outdoors. Therefore, please remember to bring warm clothing.

Discounts and ticket information for families, wheelchair users and groups
The following tickets are only available on site at the cash desk and cannot be booked in the online shop: Family tickets, group discounts, discounted / free tickets within the framework of cooperations (e. g. Berlin Family Pass) and tickets for wheelchair users and their accompanying persons (since there are designated seats for safety reasons). Unfortunately, it is not possible to refund differences resulting from the purchase of regular online tickets. Therefore, please reserve the relevant tickets in advance via our ticket hotline.
Unfortunately, family tickets are not available for cinema films, music and special events, and no discounts apply within the framework of cooperations (e. g. Berlin Family Pass).
